11/29/2023 0 Comments Red rock canyon to las vegas![]() Sorry to go on and off subject a bit, but just thought I'd throw this idea out there for you to maybe think about. Another fantastic tour that I can say I've done and one I'll never forget about that's for sure - I would definitely do VOF again in the future and book with this company again without hesitation, Adam Bautz is the best tour guide in the business in my opinion. Lovely to be out in the fresh air as well after spending the last week or so in all the casino's. He picked us up at 5am and we were done by lunchtime and in all that time we saw only a couple of people, it was just so peaceful, total tranquility. He was spot on & we were so glad we did this. As I said, we went at sunrise, this was at Adam's suggestion after emailing him as he said it was the best time to go to beat any crowds and to get the best views. He'll sort of personalise the tour to your hiking/walking ability, so I can imagine that no 2 tours are the same. Done in a super comfy luxury SUV vehicle, a quality photo package is included along with snacks and water. His tours are conducted in just your group, no one else, so for instance the other week it was just me, my Mum and Adam and it was great. By being the company owner and not just an employee, he has even more passion and enthusiasm about each tour than anyone else I've ever had the pleasure to meet). Founded in 1988 as Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association, Southern Nevada Conservancy’s many programs and services have. The owner, Adam Bautz, does the tours himself and is the best tour guide I've ever come across (and I've done tons of tours, to many great places, over the years whenever on my travels in the USA, so he had a lot to live up to,but he was fantastic, such a great guy. Southern Nevada Conservancy, a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Las Vegas, NV, carries out this mission at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area under a formal agreement with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Here's their website if this interests you at all. We booked with a company I came across here on TA and they were fantastic. Were there just before sunrise to catch daybreak and got some cracking views. We done it in February and had a brilliant time. Just my personal opinion, although its really nice, I recommend that you do Valley of Fire instead of RRC, that's much better. From pick up to drop off it was like a 6 hour trip. A visit to the lovely ranch once by Howard Hughes was included and that's where we had our packed lunches which were included along with unlimited bottled water. Numerous stops for pics and to stroll off a bit on our own. Done in small group on small vehicle with a good driver/guide. That's who we booked through a few years ago. Maybe have a look on the booking agent website viator, will be more options on there. Plenty of companies do tours there, Pink Jeep for one as mentioned in first reply.
